PROMOTING A CHARITY EVENT
HIANA, a local charity teamed up with HSBC to host a workshop for Young People, which was centred around financial education.
We worked with HSBC to plan and promote the event for young people in Birmingham.
Using Social Media Marketing to promote event
Due to the recent challenges within the financial sector, it is difficult to promote most products/services that involves credit application.
We needed to promote the event on Facebook without having to go against its advert policies.
The key was creating an attractive copy (text, image etc) to endear the target audience to the register for the event.
Due to the Holiday season, we imagined there would be a low response in registration. However, we were able to fill up the seats of the event and had over 20% more registrants
